Sleep Apnea Treatment
When it comes to sleeping sickness, Sleep Apnea ranks top in the category. Sleep apnea occurs when an individual’s breathing system is interrupted while sleeping. People with sleep apnea experience a reduced to zero breathing rates in their sleep. This usually means a limited supply of oxygen to the brain and the body. That is the importance of Dr. Avi Weisfogel. Avi is the founder of Dental Sleep Masters, a practice that assists patients with sleep apnea to get treatment on time. Approximately 90% of the victims suffer silently hence the importance Avi in practice. He promotes the timely arrest of sleeping disorders by creating awareness and offering treatment. Avi through Dental Sleep Masters developed a modern model for major and minor physicians. The design includes certified sleep doctors including the labs for operation.
In April 2016, Avi started a GoFundMe application to support the Operation Smile project. His first donation was $2,000 to kick-start the operation. Operation Smile is a universal charity organization providing surgeries to children from less fortunate backgrounds. The initiative primarily focuses on young people with cleft palate and facial deformities. The objective of the team is to offer children from all walks of life with the hope for a better, healthier future. Weisfogel has been a great supporter of the organization. He believes in the mission of the team and hopes to save the lives and dignities of children across the world. The GoFundMe campaign commits to financing all the operations for the less fortunate children for a bright, healthy smile!
Education and Contribution
Avi went to Rutgers University and graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Psychology and Biology. He furthered his studies by attending the School of Dentistry in New York. He provides retreats across the United States with a core focus on West Coast. In 2016, Avi held four seminars and two retreats. In October and March, he held two workshops in Las Vegas. He also hosted workshops in Austin and Los Angeles. His project is scheduled to continue in February and will be held in San Diego and Arizona respectively.
